Better SEO results for business

Front page of hand made jewellery website

Claire Howard had invested in a well-designed and effective website to support her hand made jewellery business, but was unsure whether she was acheiveing the best results from search.

An analysis of the pages using SEO tools and Google console, helped identify opportunities, as well as reveal wider business insights. The analysis showed that 80% of website visits were from people who searched using her name (brand related searches).

This was a good indication other awareness marketing and her repotation was working well, but made gaining new visitors a priority – people who did not know her, and were searching with keyword terms related to a transactional intent.

Changes to page titles and meta descriptions were implemented and within 2 months non-brand related searches had increased by 43%. Further bi-monthly reports and recommendations followed to further build on this. The longer term aim is to make non-brand searches the majority of site visits each month, without reducing brand related visits.
